Court Reporting Is Our Only Program!
We have been training future court reporters for over 17 years in a small classroom setting at this location. The school occupies 2,500 square feet in a professional office building, which includes six classrooms, a breakroom, a foyer, and two administrative offices.
We have an excellent reputation in the Court Reporting community. The Director has been teaching court reporting for 25 years here in the Austin area. Seventeen years ago, the Director opened this institute.
Leigh Hagg was a court reporting firm owner for many years. Bernice Schnerr is a retired public school teacher and has been teaching in court reporting schools for 19 years.
Our Goal For Our Students!
At Kussad Institute of Court Reporting, we are committed to providing you with an excellent education, which is the key to your future success in all the interesting court reporting careers available in today's high-tech marketplace. Court reporting has been a leader in the legal field with technology using the latest in computer translation software and litigation support software for attorneys or judges.
Univesity of Texas Law School Mock Deposition Requirement
At the 180 QA speed level, all students will begin to do a total of 12 law school mock depositions. This is a great opportunity for court reporting students to practice at being a court reporter by writing the depositions and preparing transcripts under a deadline using CAT software.
